Monte Baldo in the chalice
Sondelaite was born from the passion of a young couple, Diana and Giacomo, who decided to dedicate themselves to sustainable agriculture, following the organic philosophy, in full respect of nature, through an all-manual harvest to prefer quality to quantity. A small family-run company in the heart of the Monte Baldo Natural Park, determined to produce small quantities in order to directly control each stage of grape ripening and its transformation into wine. Diana and Giacomo are strongly convinced of the importance of enhancing the territory, of telling the stories that characterise it and they do so through their three excellent products: a 100% Chardonnay wine, a red wine from Lagrein and Rossara grapes and the "Farina Baldina" mountain corn flour ideal for preparing an excellent polenta.
The Chardonnay is called Kronìl and owes its name to the "crone" or the "rock crowns" of Vallagarina where in 1703 the inhabitants of the area took refuge to escape the incursions of the French General Vendôme. This wine was born in 2020 in the midst of the pandemic and precisely for this reason the young couple chose to display the symbol of the tria on the label, an emblem of hope and desire to return to freedom.
