In 2018 Mauro Perencin opened Hero - La Casa del Burger in Predazzo, Val di Fiemme, with one thought in mind: the Italian reinterpretation of the burger that, for decades, has rhymed with fast food. For some years now, the trend has been reversed thanks to some restaurateurs like him who have decided to show Americans and not only that the hamburger, with a few tricks and a touch of quality, can also become a gourmet product. This sandwich bar with restaurant service is operated with the help of Anna Giacomelli and Chantal Alaimo, two valuable collaborators. The restaurant participated in the "Burger battle Italia 2019" selections for the province of Triveneto, winning third place.
