The Dairy Sociale Alta Val di Non di Romeno e Cavareno was founded as a social dairy with shift management in 1891.
The first forms of Trentingrana were created in 1927 and this cheese now accounts for 95% of production. Fresh and soft cheeses are also produced in the Romanian and Cavareno dairies, flavored with mountain herbs that you can buy in the shops inside the facilities.
The Dairy of Romeno organizes guided tours by reservation, for families or groups of up to 25 people.
