Viess is a winery, livestock and producer of Marroni di Castione, various types of cereals for flours and craft beer, with crops including vegetables and hops, all coming exclusively from Monte Baldo.
Attentive to the enhancement of the raw materials and products of the territory, Aziena cultivates Marrone di Castione, a fine variety of chestnut present in the town of the same name in the heart of the Monte Baldo Park. Another top product is the domesticated hops of Monte Baldo and international varieties, for the production of various types of craft beer in collaboration with the "Maso Alto" agricultural brewery in Lavis, including the special Castione Brown beer, chestnut honey beer, Moscato or Gewürztraminer must beer, that with ancient grain malt and that with bergamot and Baldo hops. With the start of beer production, the cultivation of barley, spelt, wheat, durum wheat and oats for flour production was also immediately activated, in combination with the breeding of goats and cattle.
