This restaurant was founded in 1870, when Trentino was a province of the Empire of Austria and Hungary. Today its still totally family-run business offers recipes and processes that have been passed down through the generations, from the "Casoncelli di Moena" to the "Potato Tortel", up to the pastry shop. At the Ancora you can also enjoy excellent pizzas cooked in a wood-fired oven, choosing from about 30 different types: some, such as the "Buongustaia" and the "Toni", are really special. On request, it is possible to have fish dinners, including cod, florentine and shin. The barrel faces of the two large rooms give the Trettel family premises the atmosphere of yesteryear and are ideal for hosting dinners and family and business meetings on the occasion of special events.
