Ristorante Malivi

In the heart of Alpe Cimbra, the Malivi restaurant was born as an expression of our idea of hospitality: a cuisine capable of telling the story of the mountain through sincere flavours, contemporary techniques and a deep respect for the territory. We are leading this project, three sisters from Folgaria together with the help of our parents Katia and Romano; next to us are our collaborators who share the same step and the same vision, and a network of small producers who make what we bring to the table possible every day.
Our gastronomic proposal combines memory and creativity. We start from Trentino products to re-read them with a modern look: slow cooking, artisanal processing, wild herbs and local raw materials become the common thread of a path that changes with the seasons. The pastry shop also follows the same spirit: sweets inspired by the scents of larch, mountain fruits and honey of our beekeepers, designed to close the experience with lightness and emotion. The winery accompanies the journey with labels from Trentino and beyond, giving voice to high quality wineries that work in a natural and respectful way.
The restaurant is located within our Oberwiesen Rooms, Apartments & SPA, in a special location between Folgaria and Lavarone. The room, collected and bright, is furnished with natural materials from wood to stone and handcrafted details; few tables, attentive and familiar service, made up of faces that know the value of listening and the right times.
Around Malivi our hospitality project has grown: rooms and apartments, each different from the other, designed to make those who arrive feel at home; an intimate spa where you can find tranquility and a breakfast entirely at zero kilometer that celebrates the products of the plateau and homemade sweets by our chefs every morning. For us, welcoming does not only mean serving a good dish or offering a good accommodation, but sharing a piece of our life here: in winter the snow and the slopes of the Alpe Cimbra, in summer the lake, the paths, the flowering meadows and the air that smells clean.
