A gentian obtained with the formula handed down for over 150 years by the Boroni family, which retains all its medicinal properties.
It has taken up the family tradition of the production of gentian spirits, dating back to the mid-1800s. Today Giulio Boroni is the last to know about the secret process to obtain this exquisite drink: thanks to its strength and foresight, gentian has once again been recognized not only as the base of bitters but in its truest essence, spirit, obtained from the fermentation of roots. The children continue their father's work with passion and dedication, producing this distillate together with those of Imperatoria and Ginepro with the support of the territory and the Adamello Brenta Park, which issue the authorization for the collection of the roots of these mountain flowers. The distillery still works with the original wood-fired bain-marie still.
