It was 1957 when a group of courageous farmers, armed with an innovative and cooperative outlook, devised a way to ensure a prosperous future for the many small wine growers of Mori, Ala, and Avio in Vallagarina, and sustainable development for the land. This winery now boasts about 500 members, producing 11,000 tonnes of grapes per year. The Cantina Sociale makes its wine in two establishments: in Avio, where it was founded, and in Caprino, in the Bardolino area, where it was developed. Avio is home to a well-stocked, 200 m2 store where you can taste 27 different wines and delicious local products, like cheeses from the Caseificio Sociale di Sabbionara.
